2027 Bataleon Disaster+ Snowboard
The 2027 Bataleon Disaster+ takes everything riders love about the original Disaster and gives it a serious performance upgrade. Designed for freestyle riders who spend more time on rails, boxes, and side hits than anywhere else, it combines a playful flex with a lighter core, carbon reinforcement, and premium materials that deliver more pop, quicker response, and increased durability. Triple Base Technology™ and SideKick™ keep the ride smooth and forgiving, making the Disaster+ an ideal choice for riders who want a high-performance park board without losing the loose, buttery feel that made the original a favorite.

Camber Profile
- Low Camber – Lower camber creates a smoother, more forgiving ride with easy turn initiation while still providing enough pop and edge hold for freestyle progression.

- Triple Base Technology™ (3BT) – The center of the base remains flat while the sidebases gradually rise toward the edges, reducing edge catches and creating smoother turn initiation without sacrificing carving performance.

- SideKick™ – Additional sidebase uplift beyond the widest points of the nose and tail improves float, smooths edge-to-edge transitions, and makes the board more forgiving on rails, jumps, and variable snow.

Flex
- 3/10 Flex Rating (Soft) – Soft enough for effortless presses and butters while offering more snap and response than the standard Disaster.
Shape
- True Twin – Identical tip and tail shape lets the board ride the same regular or switch, making it ideal for freestyle progression.
- 3D Twin Shape – Bataleon's 3D shaping is tuned specifically for twin boards, adding sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail for smoother handling and reduced edge catches.
Core
- Light Core – A balanced blend of Poplar and Paulownia creates a lightweight core with lively response, durability, and strength for aggressive freestyle riding.
Laminates
- Bi-Ax Fiberglass – Lightweight, playful fiberglass construction that delivers smooth flex and easy maneuverability without excessive torsional stiffness.
- Carbon Stringers – Strategically placed carbon reinforcement boosts pop, edge response, and stability while keeping weight low.
- C.S.T. (Central Super Tube) – A hollow carbon tube running through the center of the core reinforces camber, reduces weight, and boosts pop while maintaining torsional flex.
- Aramid X-Ply – Kevlar-reinforced diamond weave laminate increases torsional stiffness and impact resistance while adding very little weight.
Sidewalls
- Flex Walls™ – Urethane sidewalls create a stronger bond with the core than traditional ABS while improving durability and reducing vibration for a smoother ride.
Base
- Hyper Glide S Base – Durable sintered base delivers excellent speed, wax absorption, and long-lasting performance.
Additional Features
- A-Grade German Stainless Steel Inserts – Premium-quality inserts are built to withstand years of stance adjustments and binding swaps.
