2026 Burton Mystery Deep Thinker Snowboard
The 2026 Burton Mystery Deep Thinker takes Danny Davis’ freeride favorite and supercharges it with Burton’s top-tier Mystery construction. It’s lighter, faster, and more responsive than anything else in the Deep Thinker family, built for riders who want maximum energy, float, and control across steep lines and unpredictable snow. The Directional Camber profile and 7mm taper deliver precision through powder and packed snow alike, while the Mystery Glass laminate turns every carve and slash into a high-speed thrill. This is a once-in-a-lineup build—and when it’s gone, it’s gone.

Camber Profile
- Directional Camber – Traditional camber under both feet gives the board power, precision, and control, while a rockered nose adds float and stability in deep snow or variable terrain. Perfect for freeriders who like speed with control.

Flex
- 4–7 (Medium – Stiff) – A powerful flex that holds strong at speed and in challenging snow, but still gives enough give for natural terrain and creative riding.
Shape
- Directional with 7mm Taper – The nose is slightly wider than the tail, helping the board float through powder and track smoothly in deep snow. The shape is built to ride best in one direction but still feels playful and quick thanks to a freestyle-inspired geometry.

- Balanced Freeride Geometry – The sidecut is centered on your stance, so when you ride flat-based, it feels like a twin. When on edge, the board carves and floats like a true freeride machine.
- Pro-Tip™ – The tip and tail taper in thickness to reduce swing weight and improve overall maneuverability.
Core
- Dragonfly II™ 500G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ – High-end, lightweight woods are strategically placed for max strength and energy. End-grain woods in impact zones keep the board strong while shaving weight. The grain along the toe and heel edges improves edge hold and durability.

Laminates
- Mystery Glass – Burton’s most advanced laminate. Lightweight and full of energy, Mystery Glass adds unmatched snap and responsiveness while reducing overall weight. Designed for riders who demand the absolute best.
Base
- Methlon Base (Sintered) – A sintered base material built for high-speed glide and durability. It absorbs wax better than extruded bases and stays faster longer.
Additional Features
- Super Sap® Epoxy – Eco-conscious bio-resin that cuts carbon emissions in half versus traditional petroleum-based epoxies.
- Infinite Ride™ – Burton pre-breaks in the board at the factory so it maintains consistent flex and pop season after season.
- The Channel® Mounting System – Gives you full stance adjustability and is compatible with all major binding brands.
- One-and-Done Build – This Mystery model is a limited 2026 release—built to be rare, fast, and unforgettable.
