The 2027 CAPiTA The Matriarch is a tapered directional camber snowboard built to deliver freeride power with a strong freestyle influence. Designed alongside Torstein Horgmo, it’s made for riders who want to take a freestyle approach to the entire mountain—hitting natural features, charging variable terrain, and riding with precision and control. The new Transcend Core™ combined with Fairmat™ carbon amplifiers keeps the board lightweight, responsive, and powerful, while the Alpine V4 Directional camber provides explosive pop, stability, and drive through every turn. From park laps to steep lines and powder days, The Matriarch is built to handle it all with speed and intent.

• Tapered Directional (4mm Taper) – A directional shape with 4mm of taper that enhances float in powder while maintaining control and precision on groomers and variable snow.

Sidecut

• Blended Radial Sidecut – A single-radius arc through the midsection paired with custom blend zones at the contact points for smooth turn initiation, consistent edge hold, and predictable control through the entire turn.

Core
