2026 GNU Banked Country Snowboard

The 2026 GNU Banked Country is a directional C3 camber board designed for riders who want to charge hard all season long—pow days, groomers, or slushy spring slashes. Built by Temple and Cannon Cummins as a resort-ripping ATV, it balances float and power with a slight taper and a new switch-friendly tail. The carbon-infused G Lite 3 core and directional progressive Magne-Traction® bring aggressive edge hold, snappy response, and a smooth, locked-in feel through fast turns. With a floaty nose and new tail refinement for improved switch control, this is the board Temple rides when it dumps—or doesn’t.

Flex

  • Firm – Responsive and stable under pressure, ideal for experienced riders charging fast or navigating variable conditions.

Shape

  • Directional – Designed to excel in natural terrain, steep lines, and powder, offering better control, drive, and float in one direction.
  • Tapered Nose – Slight taper and longer nose help the board stay afloat in deeper snow while improving turn initiation and flow.

Core

  • G Lite 3 Core – A premium blend of FSC Certified Aspen and Paulownia with Carbon Power Bands for enhanced energy return, response, and lightweight durability.

Laminates

  • Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax Fiberglass – Multi-angle layup balances stiffness with torsional forgiveness for versatility across terrain.
  • Carbon Power Bands – Strategically placed carbon fiber stringers enhance snap and pop without making the board overly stiff, delivering reactive energy through turns and landings.
