The 2027 GNU Upgrade is Jeff “Hendo” Henderson’s high-tech resort freestyle machine, developed through six years of prototyping and refinement to create a board that excels everywhere on the mountain. Built around a Directional Twin Hybrid shape and GNU’s powerful C2X contour, the Upgrade blends precision carving, freestyle versatility, and effortless powder float into one highly refined package. A longer float-oriented nose, mild early rise, and directional setback work together to improve soft snow performance, while directional Magne-Traction® focuses edge control where it matters most. Finished with Carbon Power Bands, an upgraded carbon-enhanced sintered base, and lightweight G Lite 2 construction, the Upgrade delivers premium all-terrain performance with a distinctly freestyle personality.
