Camber Profile

• Christenson Surf Rocker: A custom surf-inspired tip and tail rocker profile designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson. Weighting the tail helps the nose rise out of the snow for exceptional float on deep days, with subtle rocker contours based on a Christenson surfboard profile.

Flex

• 3/5 (Happy Medium): A balanced flex that blends response and support with the maneuverable, playful feel that suits the Storm Chaser's powder-focused design.

Shape

• High Volume Shape: Volume-shifted design packs the surface area of a longer snowboard into a shorter, wider platform. The wider waist and increased nose volume provide maximum powder float with a compact, maneuverable feel.
• Directional Shape: Purpose-built directional geometry focused on forward riding and powder performance.
• High Tapered: A significantly wider nose than tail helps the nose rise while allowing the tail to sink more naturally in deep snow.
• High 3D Contour Base: Freeride-focused 3D shaping features 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0–7mm in the tail, beginning just before the contact points.
• Progressive Sidecut: Gradually increases the sidecut radius toward the contact points for smoother turn initiation and exit with less abrupt edge transitions.

Core

• Control Split Core: Ultralight dual-density wood core made primarily from responsibly harvested Paulownia with pockets of Poplar for a combination of durability, pop, and response.

Laminates

• Biax Fiberglass: Dual-direction, dual-layer stitched fiberglass provides a forgiving, snappy ride feel.
• BComp Carbon Flax Stringers: Carbon adds pop and response while flax helps absorb chatter. The carbon-flax construction also reduces CO₂ emissions compared to a full carbon stringer.

Base

• Sintered 8000 Base: Premium sintered material that's fast, highly wax absorbent, durable, and easy to repair.

Edges

• Low Traction Tech: Adds multiple contact points along the running edge to improve grip on firm snow.
• Inner Edge Traction Tech: Three sidecut bumps on the inner edge of each splitboard half improve grip while traversing firm and icy skin tracks.
• Recycled Edges: Durable steel edges made from recycled German steel for strength and long-lasting performance.

Splitboard Interface

• Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0: New for 2027, these updated clips are lighter, clamp tighter, and feature a smaller footprint than the original Ultra Clip. They're also adjustable to maintain even compression as the board ages.
• Karakoram Tip-Lock Tip Clips 2.0: Updated locking tip clips secure the board halves together with the flick of a lever and are designed to stay tightly attached throughout the season.
• Boltless Bridge: Eliminates split clip attachment hardware from the base by re-profiling the wood core around the clips. The thicker core beneath the clips increases torsional stiffness and creates a more powerful connection between the board halves.
