2025 Jones Tweaker Snowboard
The 2025 Jones Tweaker was built to be a playful, freestyle-centric snowboard that loves to pop ollies, slide and press on rails, and carve all over the mountain. The softer, twin shape loves the park with its full camber profile, blunted tips and Contour Base 3.0 so you get reduced swing and edge catch making it easier to spin, butter and slide, while camber gives you all the stability underfoot you need to stomp jumps and speed around the mountain. By taking the traditional twin snowboard shape and introducing all of the greatest Jones tech available, you now get a high performance, modern manifestation of a timeless classic.
Camber Profile
- True Camber – A traditional full camber profile offers the most edge response and stability possible. The camber radius tapers into the 3D contoured base and releases the edges so you aren't getting hooked up and thrown off, offering a less-catchy feel while still being responsive.
Flex
- Flex Rating – 4/10 (1=Soft,10=Stiff)
- Forever Flex – All Jones boards are broken in using specialized machinery that mimics extreme riding use to help stabilize the flex and rocker profile of a board for it's lifetime.
- Twin Flex Pattern
Shape
- Twin – Constructed exactly the same tip to tail, this board is designed to provide consistent performance when riding in both switch and regular.
- 3D Contour Base 2.0 – Moderate 3D-base contours featuring an even balance of 4mm spoon bevel in the nose and 4mm spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point.
- Blunt Nose – "How a board glides in powder, crust, corn or any snow more than an inch deep is dictated by it's front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow coming out from behind the tip means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose you get the float benefits of a much longer nose without the 'snow plow' rounded tip and it's extra swing weight." - Jeremy Jones
- Progressive Sidecut – At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.
Core
- Control Core – Dual-density full premium wood core featuring a 2:1 paulownia to poplar stringer ratio that keeps core light but ultra damp.
- Power Basalt Stringers – Sustainable stringer made with 100% natural fibers. Basalt stringers improve torsional response and transfer power from under your feet to the tips of the board to help eliminate nose and tail chatter.
Laminates
- Biax Fiberglass – A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate that provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride.
Sidewalls
- Recycled ABS – ABS Plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improve the sustainability of their snowboards by using only recycled plastic. The rounded sidewall finish improves board durability by protecting the topsheet from chipping.
Base
- Sintered 8000 Base – New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight polyethylene and carbon.
Edges
- Oversized Recycled Edges – Exactly what it sounds like, enhanced sustainability and added durability.
- Traction Tech 2.0 – Like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Traction Tech improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board.
Topsheet
- ECO-Plastic Topsheet – Bio-plastic topsheet made from Castor beans. This ecomaterial is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/ snow repellent (snow sticks less to topsheet).
Additional Features
- Bio Resin – All Jones boards are built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum based epoxy. The raw materials used to make Bio Resin are co-products or waste products of other plant-based industrial processes. Producing Bio Resin requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions than conventional epoxy.
- Wend Bio Wax – Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with Wend Bio Wax.
- Factory Tuned – All Jones snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail, so you can go riding straight away.
