Description
2025 K2 Almanac Snowboard
NEW to the 2025 K2 snowboard family is the K2 Almanac! Replacing the Party Plater in the range, the Almanac is an all-mountain freestyler for riders who like to make the whole mountain their playground. With a strong yet lightweight BAP Core and Ollie Bar, this puppy has pop and the power to boost. The Volume shift gives a little more width under the feet for a stable, super fun ride and the ability to downsize 3-5cm from what you would usually ride. Sporting a directional combination camber with rocker in the tip and tail and camber under the feet, the Almanac is perfect for holding an edge in harder snow conditions while still having the rocker for powder days and allows a bit more forgiveness in the board.
Camber Profile
- Directional Combination Camber Profile – The best of both worlds. By blending both traditional Camber and Rocker profiles, Combination Camber gives you all the benefits of both; the pop and precision of camber, and the float and predictability of rocker.
Flex
- Flex Rating – 5/10 (1=Soft,10=Stiff)
Shape
- Directional
- Volume Shift™ – Volume is moved from the tips and tails of traditional snowboard shapes and placed underfoot where it can be better controlled. This makes a wider, shorter design that maintains the same float and stability of a traditional board, but increases mobility and maneuverability. Size down 3-5cm from your usual snowboard length.
Core
- BAP Core – Bamboo. Aspen. Paulownia. K2 has blended three species of renewable timber to assemble a core that’s strong, lightweight, and designed to enhance dampening without the addition of other materials.
Laminates
- Carbon Backbone™ – Tip to tail cambered carbon insert running down the center of the snowboard adds response and rebound for precise control on approaches and landing heavy tricks, and adding snap to every ollie.
- Ollie Bar™ – A pre-curved carbon fiber strip placed between the binding inserts, the Ollie Bar™ helps by adding extra snap between the feet to increase pop from the highest load-zone.
- Biax Glass – Smooth all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. Fibers are woven together at 0° and 90°, creating a more forgiving flex pattern.
Base
- Sintered 4000 Base – The sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability.
Binding Compatibility
- 2 x 4 Inserts
