2027 K2 Excavator Snowboard
The 2027 K2 Excavator is a volume-shifted freeride board built for powerful carving and deep snow without making you wait for a powder day to have fun. Its Directional Camber Profile runs camber from ahead of the front foot through the tail with early rise in the nose, delivering precise edge control and stability while helping the nose float in soft snow. Volume Shift™ moves surface area toward the waist, allowing riders to size down approximately 3–6 cm for quicker maneuverability and reduced toe and heel drag. The S1 Core combines Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia for a damp, responsive ride, while ICG™ 10 Biax Glass with Carbon and the Carbon Power Fork™ add snap and energy through turns. Finished with a fast Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base, the Excavator is equally ready to lay into groomers or hunt for fresh snow.

Camber Profile
- Directional Camber Profile: Camber runs from in front of the front foot through the tail with slight early rise in the nose, providing precision and control while maintaining float in deeper snow.

- Directional Shape: Built for forward-facing freeride performance and confident carving across varied terrain.
- Volume Shift™: Moves surface area from the tip and tail toward the waist, reducing swing weight and toe and heel drag while maintaining float and stability. K2 recommends sizing down approximately 3–6 cm from your usual board length.
Core
- S1 Core: Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia combine for a strong, damp, and lightweight core. Tip-to-tail Bamboo stringers add snap, durability, and damping, while lightweight Paulownia reduces swing weight and angled Aspen and Bamboo underfoot increase strength and edge-to-edge response.
Laminates
- ICG™ 10 Biax Glass with Carbon: Carbon fiber stringers running the length of the board are integrated into the fiberglass to increase snap without adding unnecessary rigidity.
- Carbon Power Fork™: A pre-cambered carbon inlay in the tail adds energy in and out of turns along with extra pop for takeoffs and landings.
- BioResin: A plant-based epoxy resin replaces a portion of traditional petroleum-based resin while maintaining the strength, durability, and performance of the construction.
