2027 Ride Moderator Snowboard
The 2027 Ride Moderator is a responsive directional all-mountain snowboard built for riders who want plenty of energy without stepping all the way into an ultra-stiff freeride deck. Its Extra Camber profile delivers a snappy, lively feel, while the directional shape and Linear Quadratic Sidecut provide smooth turn initiation, strong edge hold, and powerful exits through the tail. The Performance™ Light Core combines lightweight Paulownia with strong Aspen, backed by Linear Carbon 5, Carbon Array™ 3, and Hybrid Glass for increased pop, control, and response. Slim Walls help keep the construction light and damp, while the fast Sintered 4000 Base is ready for everything from high-speed groomers to deeper snow.
Who is this board best for?
Intermediate to advanced riders looking for a responsive directional board for all-mountain riding, carving, and powder.

Camber Profile
- Extra Camber: A higher-rise camber profile delivers a snappy, lively, and responsive feel, with enough rise in the nose to provide float in deeper snow.
Flex
- Medium Response: A versatile medium flex balances smooth turning, pop, and response for all-mountain riding.
Shape
- Directional: More nose than tail, a setback stance, and a directional sidecut create a ride designed primarily for forward-facing all-mountain and powder performance.
- Tapered Directional Profile: Combines a directional shape with Extra Camber and nose rise for smooth turns, response, and float in deeper snow.
Sidecut
- Linear Quadratic: Quadratic curvature runs from the tip to the rear insert pack before transitioning into a linear section through the tail, creating smooth, catch-free turn initiation and powerful support through the turn exit without sacrificing grip.
Core
- Performance™ Light Core: Lightweight Paulownia wood stringers combine with high-strength Aspen for lightweight performance and response.
Laminates
- Carbon Array™ 3: Carbon stringers positioned around the binding zones gather rider input from different stance widths and pressure angles and channel that energy toward the opposing contact point for increased board control.
- Hybrid Glass: Triaxial fiberglass above the core and biaxial fiberglass below balance torsional flex and stiffness for improved response at speed.
- Pre-Cured Glass: USA-made pre-cured fiberglass optimizes the glass-to-resin ratio for a consistent flex pattern, stability, and control.
- Single Impact Plates: Reinforcement beneath each binding area increases compressive strength and helps protect against board breaks in high-stress areas.
Sidewalls
- Slim Walls: A fully 3D composite structure over Slimewall® material improves energy transfer while reducing weight and increasing damping.
Base
- Sintered 4000 Base: High-end sintered 4000 P-Tex provides a harder, faster, and more durable running surface than an extruded base.
- Stone Ground: A stone-ground finish creates a flat, clean running surface.
Additional Features
- Standard Topsheet: Durable urethane topsheet material.
- Biobased Resin: Plant-based resin reduces reliance on traditional epoxy and helps lower carbon emissions during production.
- Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax: Factory-applied wax made from Meadowfoam® wildflower seeds is non-toxic and biodegradable.
- 30% Recycled Steel Edges: Snowboard edges contain 30% recycled steel.
- FSC® Certified Paper Packaging: Paper packaging materials use FSC® Certified materials.
- 44% Solar Production Energy: RIDE states that 44% of the energy used in production comes from solar energy.
Binding Compatibility
- 2x4 Inserts: Standard 2x4 insert pattern for broad snowboard binding compatibility.
