Description
Rome Gang Plank Snowboard
The Gang Plank is a staple in the line thanks to its playful flex and ability to turn anything on the mountain into a feature. With plenty of snap and pop to step to bigger jumps and take speed all over the mountain, the Gang Plank is built to let your creativity run wild.
Camber Profile
Contact Rocker – Looser and more playful than the straight Contact Camber, the rocker version is perfect for riders who want a park destroyer or an all-mountain weapon that flows with smooth turns and floats effortlessly in powder.
Flex
Flex Rating - 5/10
Shape
True Twin – This shape is symmetrical with a centered stance for riding switch and capturing that park personality with all mountain performance.
Core
Pop Core Matrix – The most versatile and durable core from Rome, constructed with alternating strips of 20mm poplar and paulownia woods.
Laminates
Twin Single Bamboo Omega Hotrod – Bambo Hotrods are thin rods of bamboo milled into the boards core, giving the board a pressable and playful feeling. These bamboo rods placed in Carbon Omega housing, which provides additional power and responsiveness. This configuration inlays a rod in the centreline of the board in the nose and tail, maintaining a pressable yet poppy board personality.
Biax Fiberglass – 90 degree fibres that give the board a more mellow and torsionally playful feel.
Flax Impact Plates - These full woven flax constructed plates covers and reinforces the insert pack and are designed to make the boards more durable. Flax Impact Plates help absorb impact and add increased strength without changing the boards flex pattern.
Base
SinterStrong Base - The new go-to base material, this hardworking base is easy to repair and has great wax retention.
