2027 Salomon Indicator Snowboard
The 2027 Salomon Indicator is a powder-focused all-mountain freeride snowboard built for nimble turns, effortless float, and a smooth ride across variable terrain. Its Tapered Directional shape and Powder Camber profile combine camber between the feet for carving precision with a large rockered nose that keeps the board floating in deep snow. A Radial Sidecut delivers consistent, predictable response, while Popster core profiling and Ghost Carbon Beams add energy and snap without sacrificing maneuverability. Damplifier technology helps absorb vibration through the nose, and the 50% Recycled Sintered Base, 66% Recycled ABS Sidewalls, 30% Bio-Based Resin, and recycled edges bring more sustainable materials into a capable freeride construction.

Camber Profile
- Powder Camber – Camber between the feet provides carving precision and response, while a large rockered nose adds float in deep snow.
Flex
- 3/5 – Medium – A stable, maneuverable flex that balances support and response with an approachable feel for all-mountain and freeride riding.
Shape
- Tapered Directional – A wider nose, narrower tail, and setback stance help the tail sink and the nose rise for effortless float and fluid turn initiation while maintaining stability on groomed terrain.
- Radial Sidecut – A classic circular sidecut that provides consistent, predictable response riding forward or switch.
Core
- Aspen Core – Full-length, high-density aspen provides proven strength, efficiency, and resilience.
- Popster – Strategically milled core profiling inside the insert packs allows the board to flex naturally underfoot and efficiently transfers energy into the nose and tail for added pop.
- Damplifier – Cork and ABS positioned in the nose help absorb vibration for a smoother ride at speed.
Laminates
- Biax HD Fiberglass – High-density fiberglass woven in a perpendicular dual-axis pattern provides response, durability, and a predictable flex.
- Ghost Carbon Beams – Carbon beam inserts in the nose and tail increase pop and provide added stability at higher speeds.
- 30% Bio-Based Resin – High-performance resin with 30% of its molecular structure derived from plant-based sources.
Base
- 50% Recycled Sintered Base – Uses 50% recycled base material to reduce waste while maintaining the speed and glide of a sintered base.
- Natural Wax – Factory-finished with natural wax.
- Fine Stone Finish – A factory stone finish for consistent glide and base performance.
Additional Features
- 66% Recycled ABS Sidewalls – Durable ABS sidewalls made with 66% recycled material.
- All Mountain Edge Bevels – A factory 1.5° base edge bevel and 1.5° side edge bevel provide dependable edge hold while reducing hang-ups.
Binding Compatibility
- 2x4 Inserts – Compatible with standard 2x4 snowboard binding mounting systems.
