Description
2025 Yes. Shifter Snowboard
The YES Shifter is a soft flexing twin board designed for park riding and jibbing. Unlike other boards, the Y3D profile begins outside the contact area, giving it a more direct edge feeling. Carbon Layup shifter This Carbon Layup configuration adds longitudinal stiffness to the nose and tail area’s while keeping the board torsionally softer between the bindings. This will help keeping the nose from folding in high speed run and makes your ollies pop as high as possible while keeping the board nice and responsive between the feet.
Camber Profile
- Camber - Camber is the base of snowboarding: you need to have an edge hold enough to drive in and out of turns, the Camber acts as a shock absorber on cars they push the wheels into the road to enhance grip. The camber does exactly that to the edge. Allowing you to drive your turns longer and release later.
Flex
- Flex Rating - 4/10 (1=Soft,10=Stiff)
Shape
- True Twin - A completely symmetrical outline houses a centered stance that is effective on edge, a tip and tail, and is identical at both ends of the board.
- Y3D Jib/Street - The Y3D Jib/Street is the most cozy 3D in the collection. A real smooth operator that will have your back all day long. Easy to navigate short and sketchy in runs and the most forgiving 3D giving comfort progressing your rail game.
- Sidekick - SideKick™ increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, enhances float in powder and improves board handling in rough terrain. It has to be ridden to be believed!
- Radial Sidecut - When basics are good, a radial edge is the classic snowboard sidecut, where the radius draws a single circle. It's the most basic way to turn, it will allow you to carve but you are limited in the variations of turns you can make.
Core
- Full Poplar - YES.'s baseline core for tip-to-tail woodcore snowboard construction. A core that strikes a predictable balance between durability and consistent flex and lightweight feel.
Laminates
- Carbon Layup Shifter - This Carbon Layup configuration adds longitudinal stiffness to the nose and tail area’s while keeping the board torsionally softer between the bindings. This will help keeping the nose from folding in high speed run and makes your ollies pop as high as possible while keeping the board nice and responsive between the feet
Base
- Extruded – This material is formed by extrusion and is softer than sintered bases. At the speeds many riders take, this material is actually quicker than sintered bases when waxed correctly. It retains wax better because it's more porous and is easy to fix with a P-Tex stick if it gets scratched. Wide center base for stability on rails and obstacles. Medium uplift of the side bases for control on difficult run ins and sketchy landings. Early start of the side base uplift for a nice and loose underfoot feel, forgiveness and no edge catch.
Binding Compatibility
- 2 x 4 Inserts
